2012-01-31 ONLINE MEASUREMENT REVEALS THE MOISTURE VARIATIONS OF THE SOLID BIOFUEL
Etelä-Savon Energia Oy and Inray Oy have investigated benefits that can be achieved using online moisture measurement of biofuels. Two months test period has been made in Pursiala power plant where moisture content of peat and wood chips has been monitored using InrayFuel online measurement system. In addition to moisture content measurement the system has also been used to detect foreign objects, such as stones and metals.
